Celebration of Life for Miriam Karn

Our Mom and Am (grandma) passed away suddenly on November 23rd. She suffered a heart attack on November 20th that she survived. The hospital discharged her on November 22nd, saying she was fine and should make a recovery. She showered at home that night. Did her hair, put makeup on including eyeshadow and lipstick and she looked beautiful per usual! She got to spend her last night with her 4 daughters and 2 of her grandchildren. Unfortunately, she was found unresponsive at home later that night, and despite attempts to revive her she went home to be with her Lord and Savior. This has been a complete shock and extremely traumatic. We did not expect this at all but we know she is dancing in heaven with Jesus!

Many people have asked how they can help, and we would greatly appreciate help with funeral costs and the care of our dad as he is in end-stage Alzheimer’s Dementia and our mom was his primary caretaker. We want to be able to celebrate our Mom and Am and throw her the kind of party she did for all of us including soccer, classroom celebrations and girls scouts. Let’s honor her by celebrating her the same way she celebrated us!
