Around 7pm on Thursday, Flash slipped out of the house after one of his owners roommate left the door open. Flash ran into the street and was hit by a car on Neponset Ave.

Danny, Flash’s owner, did not stop to see if the car had stopped before picking up the dog and running to the car. Flash is going to be okay but is now in the hospital with a series of injuries including a broken leg, wounded leg and chest issues.

His vet bills have already exceeded $10,000 and will continue to climb. Unfortunately, the vet does not offer payment plans, and Danny is doing everything he can to cover the costs up front. We are posting this in hopes that some generous dog lovers might donate to help a hardworking dog owner.
