My name is Jay James and I am the son of Glenda Marie James. Glenda passed away on January 17th 2026. I am raising funds to help cover her final expenses.

Glenda held the role of friend and matriarch in the family for many years; as a wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She shared a special bond with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and found comfort in her faithful companion, her poodle Maddie. She is now reunited with her late husband of 41 years, James “Ed” Edward.

In 2024, Glenda’s life changed forever after she was involved in a severe car accident. The accident caused significant injuries to her arm and leg, requiring multiple surgeries. During her recovery, she suffered a stroke that further limited her mobility and independence. Despite her strength and determination, Glenda was unable to return home and spent her remaining time in an assisted care facility, working tirelessly to regain her strength.

Sadly, recently more complications arose from pneumonia other infections and a subsequent stroke ultimately led to her passing.

In lieu of flowers - I am humbly asking for help to cover some of Glenda’s final expenses, including cremation and interment alongside her late husband. Any contribution—no matter the amount—will help ease the financial burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time.
