Hi, my name is David and I am fundraising for our furry friend Milo. Being a deaf and generally skittish creature, Milo is not allowed outside off of a leash and harness, but he sure does enjoy attempting to scurry between your legs when you open the door and he succeeded yesterday. Later on last night Milo began vomiting, it is the season of shedding so hairballs are expected occasionally, but this time it did not stop. The next morning we took him to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital where it was discovered that he had found and consumed a string that had wrapped itself around his tongue and had trailed down into his stomach. As a result, Milo now requires surgery to remove the string or else risk losing his tongue and a whole handful of other negative side effects from the foreign object. The surgery in question will be costing us $4,000 which is a devastating amount of money to have to suddenly drop in these tumultuous times. We want to be able to do whatever it takes to get this sweet, loving boy back in good health once again. Anything you can provide helps, even if it’s just sharing this page with your friends. Thank you.
