My long time coworker, wonderful ICU nurse and long time friend Anna is losing her son Evan . He is currently on hospice and may only have only a few days left.

I'm reaching out to our community to help alleviate the financial burden of funeral arrangements and costs , allowing Evan's family to focus on celebrating his life and legacy.

" Evan was born on Oct 12, 2008 a healthy baby. By three a brain tumor was discovered and we've been fighting it since. Not a mean bone in his body, he was everyone's friend. Initally we we're told he'd not reach kindergarten, but he just turned 16 and has been having strokes for the last 15 months. Then we discovered a renal tumor that was cancerous. That was taken out but the strokes don't stop because of radiation damage. We've decided to put him on hospice. It's been a long road and he has recently taken a turn for the worse. When we say he doesn't have a mean bone in his body- its because there are no strangers to him- only potential friends. He is and always will be very special and we will miss him with all our hearts "
