Hello! The last time I used this platform, I'd been squished by a car, and now I actually have some good news to share.

Insurance fully covers my upcoming surgery, which is a miracle, but I'll lose a paycheck to mandatory seriously-do-nothing-time. As a freelancer, I don't have sick time or PTO.

Friends have asked how they can help, so I'll take it: I'll use funds for grocery delivery, additional medical supplies and sanitizing items.

I will happily donate all unused items to someone else, post-recovery.
