Help Me Care for Eric for the Last Time

My brother Eric passed away suddenly on September 14 after being wrongly discharged from the hospital, likely due to lack of insurance. He died within hours. Unfortunately, I recently relocated to another state and just finished my second day of work when this nightmare began. I am a single parent raising two teens, one of which is disabled and has several chronic illnesses. I do not have the funds to pay for Eric’s final arrangements. I didn’t even really have the funds to travel to SC to care for him one last time. I know that God will make a way. If anyone can help with these expenses, I will be eternally grateful. He was my first best friend, my only secret keeper, my brother and a huge part of my life and the lives of my children. He had a heart of gold that would give the shoes off his feet if he thought someone needed them more than him. If you knew him, you were blessed. His love and laughter were a light to so many in this dark world. I don’t know how I’ll continue to live in this world without him here. Any help will be a blessing- there’s no amount to small.
