My name is Alex and I'm in a bit of a bind. As usual, I went to the hospital and got stuck with a bill for basically an extremely expensive cheeseburger and a chat with a social worker.

I don't have a sob story or anything, unless you count my depression which caused this bill to exist. I'm just a typical guy with too much credit card debt from my younger years and now paying the price. But this isn't about my credit card debt, it's about my "relatively small" medical bill.

Honestly, this is just in case the financial assistance doesn't get approved, which I have a feeling it won't, but I guess it's worth a shot.
