Hi Everyone! I'm starting this GoFundMe to help cover recent and upcoming veterinary bills for my beloved pug, Dumpling. I rescued Dumpling last year after she was found abandoned on the road in South Carolina. She was severely malnourished, had uncontrolled diabetes that led to a cataract and blindness, and had an infected bite that almost caused her to go septic when I brought her home last year. Thanks to the help of the rescue organization and my vet, we got all these situations under control. Unfortunately, she still is suffering after effects from her past trauma, including severe anxiety, having frequent accidents when alone, and the ongoing results of her diabetes and blindness. Additionally, she has dental disease and needs to get several teeth extracted, and her cataract can be removed so at least some of her vision restored. She needs immediate dental surgery, with the cataract removal to follow later this year. Dumpling is my heart, and I spoil her endlessly because she is the most loving and loyal potato pug anyone could ask for.
