Hi folks. Most of those who know me know that I spent the last year battling breast cancer. Aside from some follow ups I was thinking that I was done. But I was wrong. I finally got permission to get dental work done and I have to have work done on 16 teeth. Plus a root canal and a crown for a broken tooth. I was told by my dentist that this is common for people who have undergone chemotherapy like myself.
I had four teeth done today and even with insurance I had to pay $300. I was told that my insurance was maxed out. And I was given a breakdown of all the future work that I need done and what the cost would be over 6000 for the dentist and probably another thousand for the specialist with the root canal.
This is way beyond our means. Many are aware that I am on disability and that means a fixed income from Social Security. I can’t just go out and pick up a side job. Between what I make and what John makes we barely make the bills each month, so this is devastating to us. I never thought I would do this, but I am asking for help. We would appreciate anything and everything that you could give to help us cover this tremendous bill. I appreciate all of you and hope that you never find yourself in this position. Thank you so much
