As many of you know, we recently lost my father in law, David Jarrell — a beloved member of the Macon, GA community who touched so many lives through his love of music, his kindness, and his deep love for his family and friends. His passing has left a hole in our hearts, and we are now working together to honor him the best way we can.

David did not have life insurance, and while we were incredibly fortunate that an anonymous donor stepped forward to cover his final arrangements, they have asked to be reimbursed. (To clarify, this donor was not Justin or myself.) That’s why we’re setting up this GoFundMe — to help repay that generosity and ensure David’s funeral costs are fully covered.

We want to emphasize that this fundraiser is not meant to take away from the Yeah Man Jam being held on May 18th in David’s honor. That event is still happening and will be a beautiful celebration of his life and is another avenue to make donations. However, we understand that not everyone will be able to attend, and this gives people another way to show their love and support.
