Courtney has friends everywhere. She worked at many iconic Chicago institutions, collaborated to create music with countless creatives, had articles written about her abilities in pool, wowed people with her cooking, and always showed so much care and compassion for all of the communities she touched.

Her passing has been a shock to the many that knew her, not least of all, her family - who must now settle her affairs so much sooner than they should have to. Let's rally together our funds so they don't have to think about money on top of this terrible loss.

Courtney's funeral will be on Saturday, Aug. 9th at 12pm at Wheatley Funeral Home, 400 Pulaski Rd., in Calumet City, Illinois.

We will also be having a memorial for her at Skylark Restaurant and Lounge in Chicago starting at 5pm the same day. We will have some music and there will be an open floor to share thoughts and memories about Courtney to celebrate her life.
