Even though I feel uncomfortable asking for financial help, I am going towards my third surgery in my left knee. In July/24 I tore my ACL and had surgery in 10/24. My knee faced an infection then I had a second surgery in March 2025.

At that point I had my expenses covered for the workers comp, but believing that my knee was fully healed, I closed a settlement.

For my surprise, my knee got infected again, and a third surgery will be needed. According to the MRI, the screw used to help solidify the ACL it’s the source of the infection and needed to be removed, with a solid antibiotic protocol.

I don’t know yet the total of costs that I will have from these new procedures, but the estimations so far of surgery center, PICC Line, doctor labor, appointments, exams already passed the mark of $12,000. I still don’t know yet the costs for the anesthesiologist and nursing care for the PICC Line.
