Help Cover Colt Avery McDade's Funeral Costs

Story

My name is Sheri, I am making account on behalf of my cousin Justine In Loving Memory of Colt Avery McDade December 27, 2018-June 19, 2025, | Age 7 With the heaviest of hearts, we remember the beautiful life of Colt Avery McDade, our precious cousin, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at just seven years old. Colt’s journey on this earth was marked by both immense challenges and unimaginable love. Diagnosed at just five months old with Infantile Spasms, a paralyzed right diaphragm, and both central and obstructive sleep apnea, Colt faced more in his short life than many of us ever will. But he never stopped fighting. Every single day, he showed us what true courage looks like — not with grand gestures, but with every breath, every smile, and every spark of laughter he shared. Colt was more than a little boy battling illness — he was light, laughter, and love. He was funny and full of personality. He had a way of rolling his eyes when he got frustrated, and it never failed to make us laugh. I had the joy of teaching him how to stick out his tongue — a little thing, maybe, but one that turned into endless shared giggles and goofy fun. We sang songs together, played music, and filled our moments with joy. Those memories will live in my heart forever. Through every high and low, Colt had his mother, Justine, right by his side — fierce, loving, and unwavering. Their bond was unbreakable. In time, Dan came into their lives — not just as a partner, but as a true father figure. He stepped into the chaos with love and grace, providing all he could and never once stepping back. He loved Colt as his own, and for that, we are endlessly grateful. Colt’s life, though short, was rich with meaning. He taught us about strength, about resilience, and most importantly — about unconditional love. He touched everyone who knew him, and now, in our grief, we hold onto the beauty he brought into our lives. As we prepare to lay Colt to rest, we are asking for help to cover the costs of his funeral and the medical care that gave us seven unforgettable years with him. Any support, whether financial, emotional, or spiritual, means more than we can express. Colt’s body may have grown tired, but his soul will always shine brightly. He will never be forgotten. Rest easy, sweet boy. You are so loved.
