Help cover Chewie's vet bills

A couple of weeks ago myself (Tommo) and my partner (Kate) took in a rescue dog from an environment that became unliveable for him, hoping to provide him with a new safe and loving home.

After having 'Chewie' (short for Chew-Barker) for less than two weeks Chewie, had to have emergency surgery to save his life, the cost of which totalled $6000.

We elected to have the surgery to save Chewie's life and we know that this our choice however, it is a great cost for any household to bare and with the many cancellations of gigs this year due to Covid it is even more financially strainining.

Chewie was a stray in Broome and was discovered as a puppy hiding under our familes sisters friends house and was taken in and eventually brought to Perth. He has always struggled to survive and we thought we would give him another chance at a long and loving life with us.
