UPDATE 5
The patient is still in the hospital as we write this update. She has been incredibly brave and never lost hope, working through several tough surgeries. It is hard to fully describe the pain and struggle she has been through, but we are doing everything we can to support her and make sure she gets the care she needs. The road is long, but every day brings a bit more light at the end of the tunnel.
UPDATE 4
The patient has been admitted to the hospital intensive care unit twice in the last month, during which she underwent two critical surgeries. The patient is still in the hospital as we write this update. We have attached the invoice from the last admission and a letter issued by the Collection Department for the amount due to clear the patient. Your help and support are much appreciated.
UPDATE 3
The patient has been admitted to the hospital intensive care unit due to severe health setback, necessitating immediate and comprehensive treatment. Enclosed is the doctor's report and the admission receipt. your support is urgently needed now more than ever. Thank you and may you remain in good health.
UPDATE 2
The patient urgently requires 2 more doses of Keytruda 100mg to complete the initial treatment plan. The 2 remaining doses will be purchased from Lebanon at a total cost of $10,000.
We are deeply grateful for your generosity and support. Your contributions make a significant difference in ensuring this vital treatment is accessible without further delay. Together, we can provide hope and support to our friend in need. Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
UPDATE 1
The patient urgently requires a treatment consisting of 4 courses of Keytruda 100mg. Despite the recommendation from the Professor, the Lebanese Ministry of Health has rejected the application. Each course costs approximately $3500+ (see enclosed invoice of first course purchased directly from a pharmacy in Istanbul), and due to the delay, we are forced to purchase it from Turkey. The patient requires four courses, spaced 21 days apart, with the possibility of continuing for two years if proven effective.
Your generous contribution will make a world of difference in ensuring this vital treatment is accessible without further delay. Together, we can provide hope and support to this individual in need. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Hey everyone,
We have a tough situation to share – our dear friend is going through a challenging battle with cancer, and we could really use your help to cover the costs of her chemo treatment and meds. She's dealing with cervical cancer, and the medical bills are hitting hard.
She lives in Lebanon and is putting up an incredible fight, especially because she has a child to care for. The financial side is a big roadblock, though. The costs for chemo sessions, surgeries, meds, and all the medical care are piling up fast.
We're reaching out to you to ask you for your support through this challenging time. Your contributions will directly go to her treatment expenses, ensuring she gets the care she needs without stressing about money. She's not just fighting for herself; she's fighting to live the rest of her life and provide for her kid.
We've chosen not to disclose her name to maintain discretion, particularly because her mother is unaware of her situation. We want to keep it that way as she may not accept the reality, and it could be overwhelming for her. We believe this decision will not impact the success of this fundraiser.
We've attached the following:
- her medical records,
- her diagnosis,
- doctor's reports,
- records of her ongoing chemotherapy treatment,
- the medication she will need,
- bills,
- PDL1 test and PET scans.
Any help you can give during this rough patch is greatly appreciated. Any amount is welcome, as is any act of support through sharing this page with the people around you.
We appreciate any gesture and show of support for her and her family. Every little action helps.
With gratitude.
