I am a BRCA1 and Lynch Syndrome patient, and do my regular mammograms and scans, but I’ve had to have scans done every 3 months instead of every year due to biopsy results showing concern. My last scan, October 1st, showed a new area of concern in both breasts, and oncology said I cannot push surgery off any longer without risk of treatments and reconstruction becoming impossible. I will be having a double mastectomy January 5th with a total of 3 surgeries to remove and reconstruct, and avoid treatments. I am already a stage 3 survivor, so I’d like to avoid harsh treatments of course. I will have to take a lot of time off of work while I recover, so I am asking for help to cover my bills during my recovery, as I will not have a paycheck to support myself during this time. Thank you
