It breaks my heart to say that on September 2oth, 2025 we lost my son Benjamin Tyler Hilton. He had just turned 18 on August 8th and was a senior at Orange County High School. Originally from Giles County we moved to Orange to await his heart transplant. Ben was a warrior since birth, born with four heart defects, and had three open-heart surgeries by age 3. Ben was gifted his new heart on July, 9th 2022. We were blessed with three extra years. Those years were precious, and though they were short, they were filled with laughter, and hope. He was a brave kid facing many challenges with courage, resilience and sense of humor like no other. A devoted big brother, and the best son and friend I could have asked for. If you knew him then you knew how great he was. If you didn't know him personally, I hope you take comfort in knowing he was an exceptional young man who touched the lives of everyone he met and will live in our hearts forever. We've had people asking how they can help, and at this time we are grateful for any support to help cover funeral cost.
