Support Ann Pesch during her stroke recovery

Hi, our names are Olivia Reilly and Caroline Johnson. We're here to raise money for a hardworking mother of two, who recently suffered a stroke and is unable to work or take care of her family, which is her biggest joy in life. Ann is suffering from paralysis on the left side of her body and is still in the hospital. There is hope she can recover as long as she works hard (which we all know she will).

Ann is not only Charles’ wife, the mother of our best friend, Marie(22), and her younger sister, Victoria (16); she serves as all of our mothers at a second's notice. She never fails to have your favorite food on the table, drop whatever she's doing to come to pick you up if needed, insists on letting her know you got home safe, and last but not least, gives the best hugs. It is only right for us to try and return the favor to someone who has supported and loved everyone she comes in contact with. When she is not cooking or driving Victoria to school, softball practice, or the batting cage; Ann works as an accountant at a construction company, where she is loved by all of her coworkers as well.

Taking after her mother, Marie Pesch is one of the most caring and hard-working individuals either of us has ever met. With dreams of going to law school, Marie is currently working as a paralegal in Manhattan, where she spends over 55 hours a week, not including her commute, working at a small firm (she technically replaced the two previous paralegals on her own) Marie is now in a position where she has to help financially support her family, preventing her from saving for her dream of attending law school within the next three years. We think it would be a disservice not to address her in this fundraiser, as this struggle affects her greatly as well.

Knowing the Pesch family, there is no way they would ask for financial support themselves. Despite our fears that Ann (and Marie) might wring our necks if they find out, we posted this, we cannot, with a clear conscience, let them go without help. Please consider donating to this VERY deserving family. They would do the same for any of us.
