Hi everyone, we are fundraising for Randy and Beckie Martin to help cover medical treatments for their daughter, Alina.
Alina was born with a condition called PFFD and walks with a prosthetic leg. She was 5 years old when she had her first surgery. It was extremely hard on her physically and emotionally.
Additionally, a few years ago, Alina was diagnosed with Scoliosis and wore a back brace for a brief time. The Scoliosis progressed and the doctors told the Martins that surgery was the only option.
Instead of heading toward the surgery route, they decided to try an alternate route of healing for Alina. Because it’s an “alternative” option, insurance will not cover it. The money raised will go toward a two-week intensive treatment located at a facility in Lancaster, PA, related travel expenses, and ongoing future treatments with the hope that another surgery will be avoided.
