It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Agnieszka J. Cwiek, 63 of Woodbridge, NJ a remarkable woman who touched countless lives, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the Hackensack University Medical Center Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Agnieszka was born on March 8th, 1962 to Antoni and Janina Cwiek in Przasnysz, Poland. Her siblings are Wieslaw Cwiek residing in Old Bridge NJ, Andrzej Cwiek residing in Pawlowo Nowe, Poland and her younger sister Alicja Kowalczyk in Ciechanow, Poland.

Agnieszka got married on April 30th, 1983 to Wieslaw Cwiek and went on to have two children, Lukasz and Anna Cwiek.

Agnieszka was a dedicated school teacher, but her aspirations were much bigger. She graduated from Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania i Administracji Publicznej in Warsaw with Masters Degree and worked for IRS in Poland. In 2002, Agnieszka immigrated to the United States, making Woodbridge her home for the past 23 years. In United Stated she worked for Middlesex County Department of Aging as a manager.

Agnieszka loved being outside in the warm weather planting beautiful flowers in her garden. She cherished any moment spent with her grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She dedicated her life fully to her family and friends. She adored crocheting in her spare time and making flower arrangements.

She is predeceased by her mother and father Janina and Antoni Cwiek and her daughter Anna Cwiek.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Wieslaw Cwiek; her child and his spouse, Lukasz Cwiek and Courtney Cwiek; her grandchildren Maximus, Alexus, Jaxus, Isabella Cwiek and Marcus Krajewski and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Although Agnieszka is gone, she will live in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A 10 am memorial funeral mass will be offered at St. James Church 369 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ. Cremation was private.

Funeral services are under the direction of Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
