Adriana is a mother to two wonderful children. She is also a kindergarten & after-school teacher who has been working on the front lines since March. Two weeks ago, Adriana was exposed to COVID-19 at the school where she works. She began experiencing symptoms quickly. The symptoms seemed to dissipate, but not a week later, they returned. Adriana was admitted to the hospital and spent Christmas on a ventilator in the ICU. She remains there currently in an induced coma. Her husband Miguel’s family medical insurance is inadequate and will not cover the majority of her expenses. Adriana's 3-year-old daughter Grace, son Edwin and husband Miguel have all tested positive. They remain hopeful that Adriana will get better and come home soon.
