Sadly, Leukemia has relapsed once again for Abiha. MashaAllah, Abiha is 11 now and a true fighter who has been dealing with this debilitating disease for almost a decade. She has been going through treatment for nearly a month, with medical expenses piling up. Daily cost of medicines, hospital charges and platelet transfusion are close to Rps. 40,000 with her father footing the bill so far. An initial round of chemotherapy was brutal on Abiha, due to which doctors recommended continuing with platelet transfusion and medication until she regains strength to go through chemotherapy again, which means daily medical bills will continue to pile on

Abiha is a friend’s daughter in Pakistan and at young age of 9 has gone through more medical treatments and hospital visits than most in a lifetime. She was originally diagnosed with Leukemia in 2014 & went through treatment but had recurrence in 2018. After couple years of remission, unfortunately relapsed once again and is currently being treated at Children’s Hospital Karachi
