Courtney and her family suffered a devastating loss yesterday, when they came   home to find that their entire rental house was burnt to the ground. They lost everything  in the fire and now have to start over.  My heart absolutely breaks for them and thinking of how this has affected their children is so sad.

Their young son, Carson proudly took on the role of caring for their chickens. He absolutely loved it, and was very knowledgeable about them. He even chose to raise money from selling eggs and bought his own tools and supplies to care for all the chickens.
When I heard that they lost 100 chicks in the fire yesterday, he was the first one I thought of. My heart broke thinking of what he may have felt at such a devastating loss, because it wasnt just the items he lost, but the animals and all his hard work too, that I know he was so proud of. 
And then I thought of the other children and how each child has such a connection to that place. I know the kids loved to help Mom care for the chickens, goats, cats, and even their new cows. It was a great place for them all to be, and a beautiful adventure for them all. Courtney has always been such an excellent teacher for them as they homeschooled all 5 of their children there at that home. 

I am starting this fundraiser so we can all come together and help Courtney, her husband Matt, and their 5 children to regain everything they had.     They will need all the basics: furniture, kitchen supplies, homeschool & homestead items,  and everything in between. 
I hope we can help raise money to  not only get their items back,  but to give hope again to a family with huge hearts, that has always been so kind to others, and has given so much to everyone around them.
