After years of hardship and trauma, Courtney and her two beautiful children finally have a place to call home. It’s the first time in a long time they’ve been able to breathe — to feel safe, to feel stable. But just as they were settling into their new beginning, life threw them another painful curve.
Less than a week after moving in, Courtney received devastating news: she would need major back surgery. Already off work for three weeks and now facing an extended and uncertain recovery, her ability to provide for her family is being pushed to the limit.
The surgery was meant to bring relief, but nearly two weeks later, doctors fear it may have failed — and are now recommending a spinal fusion. This means another major surgery, more time without income, and rising medical and household bills she simply can’t cover alone.
Through it all, Courtney’s greatest concern isn’t for herself — it’s for her children. She’s determined to keep them in the home they just began to feel safe in. She refuses to let them lose that sense of stability again.
We’re asking for your help to give this family a chance to keep the ground they’ve just begun to stand on. Donations will go toward:
Rent and utilities
Medical expenses and recovery support
Basic living needs while Courtney is unable to work
Every dollar, every share, every prayer matters. If you can give, please do. And if you can’t, please share their story.
Let’s show Courtney and her kids that they’re not alone — that community means something, and that healing is possible when we carry each other.
Thank you for your kindness.
