I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom, Courtney, who is bravely battling cervical cancer for the third time.

Earlier this year, after losing her home and nearly all of her belongings to a devastating hurricane in Florida, she made the difficult decision to move back to Delaware. All signs pointed her home—to be closer to family, friends, and the possible treatments at the University of Pennsylvania.

Unfortunately, the treatments have come with serious complications, leaving her in tremendous pain and facing new, life-altering health challenges. Because of these complications, she has been unable to work and has spent significant time in and out of the hospital. In early October, she was admitted for two weeks—and shortly after, she suffered another heartbreaking loss when her best friend and beloved companion, Cash, passed away. Anyone who knows my mom knows how much Cash meant to her; he was like a son and always by her side through life’s hardest moments.

Despite everything she’s been through, my mom continues to fight with courage and grace. She has always been the kind of person who gives to others without hesitation, and now it’s our turn to give back to her.

Mom has been in the hospital for the past 10 days. The doctors are hoping to send her home soon with home health support to help manage her needs. Unfortunately, her previous treatments were no longer effective and options are limited, but the medical team is working to find the best plan of care moving forward.

We are asking for any donations or support to help relieve some of the financial burden she’s facing so she can focus on what matters most—healing and spending time with loved ones.
