Hi, my name is Courtney, and I’m fundraising to buy a wheelchair van. I was diagnosed as a teenager with Friedreich’s Ataxia, a degenerative disease I was born with that has left me in a wheelchair. I am slowly losing muscle functions, and may eventually lose my sight and ability to speak. I no longer go out much because I have trouble getting in and out of the car. Besides going to doctor appointments, I want to see and do many things before I lose more of my abilities. If you can help, any amount would be appreciated.
