It’s time to rally together and help one of our own. Courtney, has been diagnosed with stage 4 liver disease.

Courtney has been a “bunkie” since her childhood. She gave back to the town by becoming a reserve police officer for the town for 8 years. She loved being part of the community and chatting with the residents and business owners when on duty. She was sad to leave but knew it was time to move on.

Courtney was diagnosed August 23, 2023 with stage 4, end stage, liver disease after a month and a half hospital stay. It’s been two years of ups and downs and in and out of the hospital. She is always smiling through the pain so no one would know she is sick.

Last week she had a 5 day hospital stay where she was told she would need a liver transplant in the future.

Courtney lives with her husband and stepdaughter. She is unable to work because of her diagnosis. This leaves a very hard burden on Courtney’s husband and causes an extreme amount of stress for Courtney that she really can’t take in her condition. Anything you are willing to provide will help. Even if it’s just some encouraging words.
