Help Courtney Fight for More Time With Her Family

On April 9th, 2026, Courtney Amber Kamdar passed peacefully at home in her sleep, surrounded by those closest to her. Courtney wasn’t just my wife; she was my best friend, the world’s greatest mother to our son, and someone who left a permanent imprint on every person fortunate enough to have known her.

Born May 26, 1992, in Albuquerque, New Mexico—a Gemini, two souls in one—the dreamer and the doer, the thinker and the feeler.

She was brilliant, with the mind of a philosopher. Thoughtful, always the first to lend a helping hand. Loyal to the core. Strong and resilient, an unshakable leader. Noble, bold, regal, and brave. She turned challenges into art through sheer willpower and resourcefulness, making it look effortless—like a bird in flight. She was a visionary; innovative, passionate, and imaginative—an artist in her own right, and she painted with all the colors of the wind. Courtney was one of a kind.

Quick-witted, clever, nimble, graceful and daring, with the ability to adapt to anything—she overcame the world. She was honest, authentic, and completely genuine; as real as they come. Forthright and free-spoken—no pretense, no nonsense—always true to herself and unwavering in her love for family and friends. Courtney embodied greatness. I would even go as far as to call her my hero.

As a mother, she was benevolent—tender, attentive, caring, mindful, and nurturing. She was hardworking, a go-getter who strived above all else to provide for her son—she truly put him first. She was warm, patient, and compassionate; always glowing around Mikey—nothing brought her more joy than her baby boy. She protected him with fierce devotion. Her love for him was unconditional and their bond is everlasting. Courtney created a home—a place of safety and refuge for our family to grow. Our countless memories are moments frozen in time, etched into existence—never to be taken away.

She was the most generous soul I’ve ever encountered—completely selfless. Her love for animals was a true reflection of that; if she could have cared for them all, she would have.

She was the brightest light in any room. Her smile and laughter were truly infectious, and her eyes carried a spark that felt almost otherworldly. She had a rare gift: the ability to awaken something deep within us, to ignite our hearts, and to bring peace to our minds. Courtney was magic—a shooting star, a fleeting glimpse of the heavens—and her love was boundless and unmatched.

She never quit. She never gave up. Even when her back was against the wall, she never gave in—she fought until the end and did not fear the reaper. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly, she never grew jaded. Even in her final months, she would share her hopes and dreams with me. Courtney is a true inspiration.

Now that she is no longer with us in the physical world, it feels as though there is an unfillable hole—life will never be the same without her. But Courtney taught us how to live life to the fullest, as if every day could be the last. May we see her in everything radiant and feel her presence in moments of struggle or adversity. She would remind us: “What matters? Family matters.” She would tell us to shift our perspective, to accentuate the positive, to be grateful, and to not give so much weight to the small things. Take it easy. Hakuna Matata.

Life with her was a dream—pure bliss. We really lived. I am who I am because of her. She is every reason and every hope. She will never be forgotten because she is unforgettable. We will honor her every day, because she believed in us unfailingly, and we will carry her with us eternally, loving her until the end of time. She will forever live on within the hearts of those who love her.

Give Manny and Micco hugs. I hope you drop in from time to time—to say hi or to tell me when I’m being stupid. I know you’ll be watching over us, protecting us and opening doors like you always have—but also take time to do whatever cool things there are to do on the other side. We’ll make you proud. I’m so proud of you. Thank you for everything you gave to so many and all that you did. Until we see you again. I love you. We love you. Forever and ever.

——————————————————————————

It is with extreme pain and sadness that I share this update. Courtney has been on hospice care for about a month now, and her time with us is short.

We are taking things moment by moment, surrounding her with as much love, comfort, and peace as possible. She has shown incredible courage, strength and grace through all of this, and we are cherishing every second we have together.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the love, prayers, and support you’ve given our family throughout this devastating year. It has meant more to us than words can ever express.

As we prepare for what’s ahead, I humbly ask—if you are able—for any additional support to help with upcoming funeral expenses, housing forbearance, and the financial burdens that come with this difficult time. Every bit truly helps and is deeply appreciated.

Please continue to keep Courtney and our family in your thoughts and prayers.

With gratitude,
Clay

Courtney has always been the steady, selfless one—the person who shows up for everyone else without hesitation. Now, she’s facing the hardest battle of her life, and she needs all of us to stand beside her. Please consider helping us in raising the $105,000 she desperately needs for treatment (a 16 week holistic healing program at Lifeworks Wellness Center).
On Valentine’s Day of this 2025, after a week of sudden, severe head pain and vomiting, Courtney received the heartbreaking diagnosis of Stage 4 glioblastoma. The prognosis was devastating: doctors told us she may have only 6–12 months to live. But Courtney is a fighter. She is still here with us—brave, determined, and refusing to give up.
Just one week after her diagnosis, she underwent an awake craniotomy, and surgeons were able to remove the tumor. The recovery was long and painful, but she faced it with extraordinary strength. In the months that followed, Courtney completed chemotherapy and radiation, all while maintaining an intensive natural supplement regimen to support her body through treatment. For a time, her MRIs gave us hope.
Then everything changed.
In October 2025, Courtney suffered a seizure while home alone with our son. She managed to get herself to the hospital, where scans revealed a possible recurrence of the tumor. Since traditional treatments—including surgery, chemo, and radiation—were not enough the first time, we are turning to a holistic treatment program at Lifeworks Wellness Center. Their approach offers therapies we haven’t yet been able to try, and we believe it gives Courtney the best chance to keep fighting.
However, the cost of this care is overwhelming ($85,000 for a 16 week program tailored specifically to Courtney). The program includes comprehensive testing and treatments such as Ozone Therapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, specialized IV therapies, and other supportive modalities that are not covered by insurance. Travel and lodging expenses add even more to the financial burden.
We are humbly asking for your help.
Every donation—no matter the size—brings Courtney closer to the care she urgently needs. Your support will help cover treatment, travel, and the many unexpected costs that come with a diagnosis like this. Most importantly, your generosity gives Courtney something priceless: hope, strength, and the chance to continue fighting for more time with her family.
Thank you for standing with Courtney during the most challenging chapter of her life. Your kindness truly means everything.

How your support helps:
$25 – Daily supplements & hydration
$50 – One day of holistic therapies
$100 – A full week of supplements and wellness support
$250 – Helps fund advanced holistic treatments
$500 – Major support toward ongoing care
$1,000+ – Guardian Circle supporters who help carry me through this journey — with heartfelt gratitude from me and my family
