Help Courtney Continue Burn Boot Camp Journey

Hello there! My name is Courtney and I'm hoping to raise enough funds so I can continue to go to Burn Boot Camp. I was instructed to say exactly what my goal is upfront, so here it is...my goal is $860, which is a 6 month membership. I want everyone to know right away how grateful I am for any donations I receive. I know very well how tough times are right now and I'm so grateful for anyones generosity. To be real and raw, setting up this gofundme has been really scary/vulnerable and it's taken me days to get enough courage to do it. I've never asked friends, let alone strangers, to help me with something this big and so personal.
My husband and I have talked, on multiple occassions, about the possibility of me continuing to go but the conversations have been short because we both know, right now and for the foreseeable future, there isn't a feasible way for me to go. Over the last couple of years there have been a few big and permanent health changes in our family that have made it really hard financially. I hope as you read my story can feel my deep desire to continue to go to Burn Boot Camp.

I am a Mom to four kiddos ranging from 9-15 yrs old. I've been married for 17 years and counting :) I grew up playing multiple sports, with basketball being my main sport. I have always loved and craved to move my body and be active. It is something that I have learned I absolutely need to complete my circle of happiness. I worked full time for the first 8 years of our marriage, was a SAHM for the next 6, and have been working part time for these last 3 years. When I was a SAHM, I was blessed to be able to go the gym regularly. However, currently with work and all my kids being in one or more sports(not complaining, I was made to be a sports Mom! ), I was finding it difficult to find something I really enjoyed doing with the little time I had.

Until two months ago, during my lunch break, my wonderful teacher friends(shout out to you L and J!) invited me to join them at Burn Boot Camp for the 5:30am camp. I hadn't ever attended and the thought of moving my body sounded delightful. I went and it indeed was delightful. Burn was doing their 4 week challenge and with birthday money from last year, I immediately signed up. Going at 5:30am fit PERFECTLY in my kids morning schedule and my work schedule! I loved it so much I used the remaining of my birthday money for a second month of Burn.

In the two months I've gone to Burn, I have fallen in love with so many aspects of it. Both of what has been provided to me and what I have done for myself. The coaches, the intense workouts, making new friends, my body image, my mental health, my physical strength, and spiritual growth. To go to a gym and have 30 other individuals experiencing the same exact workout, giving you high-fives and cheering you on has been so fulfilling! All of these things have helped me be a better Wife and Mom, which has been the most rewarding to me. I have never been so eager to wake up at 4:45am for anything.

Today was my last day at Burn Boot Camp. I'm sad that the reality may be I may not be able to go back. But I have hope that through the generosity of others, I can continue go. Again, I want to say thank you to all who have read this far as well as to those who have donated.

I want to say thank you to those who want to donate but can't. I've been there and I know your heart. ♥️

Courtney. :)
