Help Courie Compete in Jr Gold Championships

Sometimes the most dedicated parents give everything they have, and still need a little help. This is one of those times.

My dear friend Harry is a 60-year-old single father who has poured his heart and soul into raising his son, Courie. From the time Courie was just two and a half years old, bowling has been a central part of their world. Now 18 and a high school senior, Courie has earned the opportunity to compete in the 2025 Junior Gold Championships in Green Bay, Wisconsin this July. This is his last eligible year and a chance to shine on a national stage.

But getting there isn’t easy. As a small business owner and personal trainer supporting working-class folks on the Space Coast, Harry has always kept his services affordable. Lately, with economic uncertainty and clients facing hard times of their own, his income has taken a hit. He’s picked up extra hours DoorDashing just to make ends meet. He gives selflessly, constantly showing up for others, but now he’s running on empty.

This campaign is to help fund Courie’s trip from Florida to Wisconsin to compete in Jr Gold this summer.

Plane tickets are the most time-sensitive and need to be purchased soon, so we’re hoping to raise funds by the end of April. Every dollar raised will go directly toward getting Courie to Green Bay so he can compete, represent our community, and potentially earn scholarships to support his college journey this fall.

Harry never asks for help, which is why I’m asking for him. He’s the kind of person who shows up for anyone in need, who listens with the right amount judgment, and who gives more than he has without expecting anything in return. Right now, he needs our help to make this dream possible for his son.
