Help Cosmo Walk Again – Paralyzed Pup Needs Urgent Vet Care

Dear animal lovers,

Meet Cosmo — a sweet soul who was scheduled to be rescued today from the Downey Animal Care Center in Downey, California. What was supposed to be a new beginning turned into an emergency. When rescue volunteers from Pugs & Kisses Rescue arrived to pick him up, they found Cosmo paralyzed from the waist down.

He couldn’t move his back legs. He was scared, in pain, and in desperate need of help.

Without hesitation, Pugs & Kisses rushed Cosmo to a veterinary hospital, where he was immediately assessed. He’s now receiving the medical attention he urgently needs — but his care is just beginning.

Cosmo will need:

• Emergency diagnostics (X-rays, MRI/CT)

• Hospitalization and monitoring

• Neurological consultations

• Possible surgery or long-term rehabilitation

Despite his condition, Cosmo remains gentle and hopeful. We believe he deserves a second chance — but we can’t do this without your help.

We’re raising funds to cover Cosmo’s vet bills and ongoing care.
