Help Cosmo Get the Life-Saving Surgery He Desperately Needs and Deserves
He's survived the streets. But now he's in pain—and running out of time.
Most street cats die quietly. Sick, cold, and invisible. Their lives are short, just 3 to 5 years of struggle and fear.
Cosmo was one of them.
He lived in a cat colony in Maroubra, cared for by a selfless single mum named Koorine. She's not even a cat owner—she has dogs—but when she saw more than 15 abandoned cats and kittens struggling to survive, she stepped in.
With her own time and money, she's been feeding, desexing, and loving them—all on her own.
That's how she found Cosmo walking in slow, confused circles in the middle of the road. His head tilted to the side like he couldn't find balance in the world anymore.
The vet gave him ear drops.
But now? His eardrum has ruptured, and Cosmo is in pain—pain he doesn't understand and pain that's getting worse.
He needs urgent specialist surgery to have any chance at a life without suffering—the cost is around $6,000.
And we need it immediately. Every day we wait is another day he hurts.
Cosmo isn't alone—he's bonded with a brave little kitten named Don Diego. They've survived heartbreak together. I can't put them back on the street. But I only have until August to find them a home.
Please, if you've ever loved an animal, you know how much it hurts to see them suffer.
Cosmo doesn't deserve to fade away like this.
Donate if you can. Share if you care. Let's give Cosmo and Don Diego the future they've never had—but still hope for.
