Dear friends,

I'm reaching out for support during these difficult times. My goofy, sweet and loyal 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Cosmo, has been diagnosed with stage II canine malignant lymphoma. This type of cancer is aggressive, and untreated he will die within a couple of weeks. However, the good news is that chemotherapy can offer a chance for remission and extend Cosmo's life by up to 2 years.

I am asking for your help to cover the cost of chemotherapy treatments, which are essential for giving Cosmo the best chances at recovery. The treatments are expensive (estimate: €10.000+), and as much as I wish I could handle everything myself, I am turning to friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals who understand the bond between a dog and their owner.

Cosmo has been with me for 3 years and 8 months and in this short time he has become the most important creature in my life. I cannot imagine a universe without him. Extending his short life with even a year would therefore mean the world to me.

I am desperate to give him a fighting chance. I know that with the right care, he can make it through this tough time.
