Help Cory Jones Overcome Medical Challenges
Donation protected
Everyone,
A long-time friend of mine, Cory Jones, has recently fallen sick. Back in September, it started out as meningitis and progressed to Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. He also tested positive for Lyme disease, and this past week developed pneumonia, where he was intubated this morning and transferred to a critical care unit in Pensacola.
We are all asking for prayers first and foremost, but if you could find it in you to help out financially, it would be greatly appreciated as Cory’s insurance is about to stop covering the expenses and he will be on his own to pay the medical bills. On top of that, his mother, Kelley, isn’t allowed to stay with him overnight and is having to pay for a hotel nearby to be with her son every day. With this comes the cost of food and fuel to drive an hour to work from the hospital every day. Cory is also a father, and his son is left without a working father for the time being, and expenses are stacking up. With the holidays coming up, I would love for his son Eli to have somewhat of a normal kid’s Christmas as well.
A lot of different expenses are adding up, and any help would be deeply appreciated, but most of all, please pray every day for Cory. Pray for peace as he is in deep pain. Pray for strength to continue fighting. Pray for comfort over him and his family in this difficult time, and pray for total restoration of his health from the inside out. We serve a good God, and He hears us when we cry out.
