River is in the PICU. She is there for respiratory distress and change in mental status. (Lethargic) She has declined quickly. Potential for intubation. There is talk of a second picc line. She HAS been diagnosed with HLH and treatment was started last night. A decline was expected but we didn’t think it’d go this far this fast... she is just on the steroids for now but will be on the second drug used to treat HLH and it is a “chemo therapy” drug. So with all of that being said... PLEASE keep praying and pray hard! We appreciate all the prayers so far, just please keep them coming!!! Let's please help Cortney and take some stress load off her back to stay by River's side during this time and to help with her other children as well. Anything helps!
