As an MP (2015-217) I raised issues of local government corruption in Queensland. This led to CCC investigations and criminal convictions.

The CEO of the LGAQ (the peak advocacy body for local government) is now suing me for defamation, despite me NEVER naming him as corrupt.

This legal action will silence whistle blowers and limit freedom of speech. They are attempting to bankrupt me and send a message to all whistleblowers and anyone who uses social media that if you speak out against them - they will sue.
