Hi, my name is Corrie. I’m a recovering addict with 3 years and 4 months clean from all mind- and mood-altering substances. Today, I am proud to work full-time as a drug and alcohol counselor at Genesis House, helping others find the same hope and freedom I have found. Being able to give back and help others in recovery is truly my passion.

Unfortunately, one of the lasting impacts of my addiction — along with childhood dental struggles — has been severe damage to my teeth. Years of infections, pain, and avoiding care because of shame or lack of resources have taken a major toll on my dental health.

Now that I am stable in my recovery, I finally have the chance to address these issues and start the dental treatment I have needed for so long. The estimated cost of the full treatment is around $10,000. Thankfully, the dentist has worked out a plan to start by restoring my top teeth first, which would immediately give me back my smile and confidence while I continue to work toward completing the full process.

This journey is expensive, and asking for help is not easy — but I am reaching out to anyone who is willing and able to support. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring me closer to finally smiling without fear or embarrassment.
