Help! Corrales fire destroyed Andi’s Home
On Sunday June 13th, a frantic and uncontrollable fire destroyed the beloved home of long time Corrales residents Andi Caldwell and Steve Gossett.
It is unknown how the fire that raged angrily through their cherished home and property started. Our incredibly dry spring/summer and cotton near the Bosque were contributing factors to the intense conflagration of this devastating fire.
This fire was bravely fought by 5 different municipalities including Corrales, Rio Rancho, Albuquerque and Sandoval County. Their efforts contained the fire from spreading onto multiple homes in the corrales Bosque area.
Corrales has been the home of Andi and Steve for many years. It is where they planted their roots and raised their family. Anyone who knows Andi, has been touched by her brilliant smile, vivacious personality and tender heart. Steve is always helping friends and neighbors because he is handy and can fix anything… especially if it has an engine.
We are a community…and Andi and Steve need our help. This tragedy has left them homeless but not hopeless. With our help they can cleanup and rebuild their home.
Afterall… A trees beauty lies in it’s Branches, but it’s strength lies in its roots.
We ask you to give a helping hand to them and their family so they may re establish their roots.
