Ross has successfully run two other non-profits in Fond du Lac County prior to moving to Green County and starting CORR Foundations, to reach out to those in the community to provide direct support for basic needs, without the hoops and lengthy, endless applications, with dignity and respect.
Ross ran Stone Soup of Fond du Lac for 6 years, providing hot meals and resources to the community. In 2020, as a response to the COVID crisis, Ross launched CORE Fond du Lac, to help those in need during the shutdowns and provided bagged lunches, groceries, hygiene items, clothing, as well as any other essential needs on an as-needed basis, through pick-ups and porch drops.
CORR Foundations looks to address any needs within the community directly, without any third-party organization as a barrier to provide quick responses/support.
The goal is to deliver care packages to those who need a little extra help right now, based on their household size. They will include whatever the biggest needs are based on the assessment form they fill out. As things progress, I want to start doing bagged lunches and a diaper bank.
