Support Corinne Neal: A Lifelong Caregiver Facing Metastatic Cancer

For nearly two decades, Corinne Neal has been a steady, compassionate presence in the lives of others. As a direct care worker in a nonprofit group home, she has spent 18 years supporting adults with learning differences; choosing every day to show up with patience, kindness, and heart.

Corinne isn’t just someone who does her job well, she lives it. She has even declined promotions over the years so she could remain working directly with the individuals she cares so deeply about. That’s who she is: selfless, devoted, and always putting others first.

At home, Corinne is a loving wife of 20 years and a dedicated mother to her 18 year old daughter. Her family is her world.

In July of 2024, Corinne underwent a double mastectomy in the hope of putting breast cancer behind her. Despite her strength and resilience, she has now been given the devastating news that her cancer has returned and metastasized to her liver, spine, and bones.

Beginning the week of April 12, 2026, Corinne will begin targeted hormone therapy. Her oncology team has advised her to stop working, but true to her nature, she has continued to push through, managing significant pain just to keep providing for her family for as long as she can.

Corinne has already endured multiple surgeries, and now, with this new diagnosis, the financial strain has become overwhelming. As treatment continues, there will come a point where she can no longer work, and the loss of income combined with ongoing medical costs will place an even heavier burden on her and her family.
