Help Corine Heal: ICU and Medical Expenses

It is with extreme sadness but grateful gladness that I announce that Corine Ona Hamblin Kindall passed away surrounded by her family at 11:51 am on Thursday May 8th. She is now free from her earthly pain and surrounded by her loved ones, especially her Miah. We love her and we will miss her. Please help financially if you are able to. Much Love. Josh.

It is with extreme sadness that I share that we have exhausted all medical efforts for Corine. She is a tough gal, but is ready to go home and be with Jeramiah, her dad and her brother. We will be taking her off of life supporting measures on Thursday May 8th. Please continue to share and donate if possible. I do not have high hopes in the insurance community. Hello family and friends. Josh here on behalf of Corine. As many of you know, we have had a hard last 2 1/2 years and it has not been easy. Since loosing Jeramiah in September 2022 Corine has struggled with life every single day. She has had extreme guilt, sorrow and pain, both physically and most certainly emotionally. We have been to multiple doctors, specialists, therapists and health care centers in northern Utah and have had little success. In November and December of 2024 Corine endured 13 sessions of ECT to try and help her regain a better daily life. We have seen an initial better response, but that has diminished lately. We are now left with $36,000 of medical bills that I am fighting over with the 2 major health insurance companies in Utah about. There is a lot of blaming and responsibility evading on both of them. So, this brings me to where I am right now, I am sitting in a chair at the ICU next to Corine who is intubated and unconscious. You see, 5 weeks ago Corine passed out early in the morning and fell down 6 stairs into our basement and was knocked unconscious. We went to the ER and got several X-rays and a CT scan, just lots of bruising and pain, nothing to fix. We were sent home and since then the pain has gotten worse. We checked into the ER Monday night and after much searching, more X-rays and 2 CT scans it was determined that she has a collapsed left lung, 4 fractured ribs and tears in her esophagus and wind pipe that are filling up her left lung and she has a terrible infection in the lung. She is in the ICU for at least the next 2 weeks and the bills are adding up. Sorry for my lack of medical terminology. Right now I could use everyone’s help that is able to. Those that know me personally know that I don’t often ask for help, so this is extremely difficult to do. I just don’t know where to go from here. I will still take your prayers, good thoughts and good vibes if you got them! Thank you for reading this long story.
