Help Corina and Juliana Rebuild After Helene

Hello, my name is April and I am hoping to get a little help for one of my best friends. Her name is Corina and she is a single mommy of a beautiful 9-year-old little girl, Julianna. Corina had just closed on her house on Wednesday, September 25th, and then Helene wreaked havoc in our little town of Hudson, Florida, in the early morning hours of Thursday, 9/26/2024.

Thankfully, Corina and her daughter evacuated to her mother's house as a precaution because this house had never flooded since it had been built in the '80s. Corina was originally renting when her landlord offered to let her buy it.

Needless to say, the hurricane caused extensive damage, and her home was filled with 3-4 feet of water. Corina and her daughter lost almost everything outside of some clothes and a few memories. She is far too proud and giving herself to ask for help, so I am hoping I can help ease her burden and allow her to focus on her and her daughter as she picks up the pieces. I know there are thousands who have been affected, and any little bit will help her!
