Help Corie and Anthony Replace Belongings
Donation protected
Please consider helping my sister, Corie and her newlywed husband, Anthony. They were displaced from their apartment building on Tuesday, November 23rd just days after they moved and got settled in after the ceiling of their apartment came crashing down and thousands and thousands of gallons of water came flooding down causing a 3-4 foot raging river throughout their apartment. It continued “raining” throughout their apartment and onto their belongings for over 8 hours as the fire department worked to contain the situation and take control of the sprinkler system which failed.
Here’s the article, my sister is the one who called 911 due to her ceiling completely collapsing.

Corie and Anthony had recently moved to Duluth, MN for a job relocation after their wedding in early October. They have been spending the last month in a hotel searching for an apartment. They found the perfect apartment (or so they thought) and moved in all of their stuff last Saturday. The majority of their belongings, which include many new wedding gifts, an iMac laptop, new 72” TV and other electronics, bedroom, living room, and dining room furniture, clothing, shoes, photos and other memorabilia, are now all completely destroyed. The couple is now being put up in a hotel by the landlord until Monday, but their future is uncertain beyond that. Unfortunately, having just moved into the apartment on Saturday, they had not had the chance to purchase rental insurance. They are talking to a lawyer on Monday to understand their options.
Thank you, in advance, for your generosity helping out my sister and her husband. This small donation will help them have some peace of mind knowing that they will have to spend a lot of money replacing their belongings AND finding a new place to live.
