Help Cori and Alex Through The Tragic Loss of Michael

We write to you today with heavy hearts and on behalf of Cori Wylde and her young son Alex, to let you know of the unexpected passing of her beloved partner and Alex’s dad, Michael Hoffmeyer, on Wednesday, November 27th… the day before Thanksgiving. Michael was the love of her life, her person, a great dad to daughter Alyssa and son Alex. He was only 35 years old.

Michael and Cori built a life together they thought would last through thick and thin, supporting one another in daily life’s joys and challenges. Cori is devastated by this loss and now left with the hard realities of a future without her beloved Michael by her side, as a single mother and sole income for her family.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 11 with more details to come later on time and location.

As her loving and concerned family, myself along with Michael’s mom Tammi and sister Kelly, we are currently asking for donations to help with paying for unexpected funeral costs as well as funds to help offset the reality of the loss of his income without life insurance benefits to help. Michael was currently staying at home with Alex during winter months while his job working for a lawn sprinkler systems company is closed for the winter and helping to eliminate daycare expenses for the winter.

Immediate financial needs:
