My husband Corey and I have been together for over 11 years, and in that time, I have seen his incredible strength and resilience. In 2021, Corey was diagnosed with cancer, and since then, he has faced both lymphoma and renal cell carcinoma. He has fought and beaten cancer a dozen times so far, and last year, he underwent a stem cell transplant that brought him into remission.

Unfortunately, earlier this year, we learned that the renal cell carcinoma had returned and spread to his lungs and bones. As if that wasn’t enough, Corey recently lost the use of his legs after a fall that broke his spine in two places. Despite all of these challenges, Corey continues to fight every day, and I am so proud of his courage and determination.

We are now in need of funds to help with handicap modifications to our home, including a ramp and bathroom updates, as well as ongoing rehab and home health care. These changes are essential for Corey’s comfort, safety, and recovery as we navigate this new chapter. Corey is a very proud man who has always been the one to help others, never asking for help himself. But the truth is, he needs help—we need help.
