Help Corey Roy Heal After Brain Surgery

Hi everyone, my name is Whitney Lehman. I’m starting this to help out my brother, Corey Roy, who is currently in the hospital due to a brain bleed. He woke up early Friday morning complaining of a headache and puking. After a couple of hours of trying to remedy the headache at home, he asked to be taken to the ER because he just wasn’t feeling right. By 9:30am I was getting a phone call from his girlfriend letting me know they had transferred him to Saginaw due to a brain bleed and they would be calling me for consent for surgery. Corey soon underwent surgery to repair the bleed. After the first surgery, he was taken for a CT scan where they discovered he was still bleeding. They immediately took him back into surgery. As of now, he is sedated and has part of his skull removed to prevent any pressure from swelling and leaving easy access to the brain if something else was to arise.

There are a lot of unknowns right now but one thing we do know is that he’s going to have a long road to recovery and will unfortunately be off of work for some time. Now, I know that he would be too humble to ask for help so I’m asking on his behalf. Corey is loved by nearly everyone he meets and has an incredible ability to talk to anyone about anything. He has a huge heart and would give someone the shirt off of his back. And I’ve literally seen him do so. Even if you’re not in the position to donate, please share.
