My name is Corey, I’m a volunteer fire fighter and I’m reaching out for help after a life-changing accident. Just before Christmas, I fell from a tree stand while hunting and spent nine days in the hospital, including the holiday itself. The accident left me with serious injuries, and my doctors say I’ll need three to six months of recovery, including physical therapy, before I can return to work.

Unfortunately, I don’t have medical insurance to cover the hospital bills, medication, or therapy I need to heal. Being out of work means I’m also struggling to keep up with rent and my monthly bills. The financial stress is overwhelming, and I’m doing my best to stay hopeful and focus on my recovery.
