Help Corey Massina Rebuild After Devastating Fire

This Go Fund me is being set up for my son Corey Massina.

On Monday afternoon on June 23, 2025 at approximately 1:30 pm a Six Alarm Fire broke out at The Cooper Apartment Complex in Ft Worth Texas.

My son Corey was at home working remotely from his couch.

At approximately 3pm Corey heard water on the window. Corey went to his window and opened his blinds and saw a whole bunch of firefighters fighting a huge blaze at his apartment complex. Corey ran to the door, opened it, and was overcome by thick, heavy smoke and couldn't see. He ran back inside to his outside terrace and quickly alerted the firemen and told them where he was located. Corey was only able to grab his keys and a couple of Quick items and only the clothes on his back. Thankfully, my son was rescued by the firefighters and brought to safety.

My son lost basically Everything he owned that day, and his insurance is only going to cover a small portion of what was lost.

My son lost all of his everyday belongings as well as some sentimental things from his life, including dear items that belonged to his grandparents. He was displaced for 3 weeks and was fortunate enogh to finally secure a new place today. My son told me that he * really doesn't even know how to *Do this* because nothing like this has ever really happened to him before.*My son has been keeping this very private during these past few weeks, as he has been *trying to navigate and nove forward* with his life. He is basically going day-to-day and Remembering stuff he lost and stuff he needs to replace. He is basically starting to Rebuild from the Ground Up!!

Corey can really use our help at this very trying..traumatic time in his life. Any size donation will be very much appreciated by him and our family. I myself am still in shock, and I can't even imagine the pain and suffering my son has been going through.

I am grateful that his life was spared. Imagine, he was in his building for going on a couple of hours, not even knowing his building was on fire?? There were No Alarms till Several Hours Later. My son's place has been considered a *Total Loss,* and it is not likely he will be able to recover anything due to recent torrential rains..more structural damages, smoke, water damage, and mold.
