A Little About Myself!

Hi, I'm Corey Ramos, and I'm reaching out for support to compete in the 2025 USA Paraclimbing National Championship in Oakland, CA on March 1st-2nd. As a silver medalist from the 2023 National Championships and 8th place finisher at the 2023 Paraclimbing World Championship in Bern, Switzerland, I'm training harder than ever to reach new heights in the sport I love.

Why This Matters:

This year is especially significant - paraclimbing has just been announced for inclusion in the 2028 Paralympics! As someone born without my right leg, I've found my true calling in climbing. For the past 15 years, this sport has challenged me, inspired me, and shown me that what others might see as limitations can become unique advantages on the wall.

My Journey:

I discovered climbing 15 years ago, and it quickly became more than just a hobby - it became my passion and future. The constant problem-solving, the need to adapt, and the mental and physical challenges make every climb unique. My success at last year's National Championships and World Championship has shown me that my dream of turning this passion into a career is within reach.

What Your Support Will Fund

I need your help to cover the competition expenses. Here's the breakdown:

USAC Paraclimbing Membership: $50

Competition Registration: $110

Flight to Oakland: $300

Hotel Accommodation: $300-400

Food During Stay: $250-300

Local Transportation: $200
